My sister and our friend's 23 year old Percheron/TB cross, Cody. They rescued him from an abusive situation a few years ago and, understandably, he used to be very wary of people and would avoid being caught in the field. Until he learned that some people carry horse-cookies in their pockets and give out hugs and belly-button rubs.
 He's a total lap dog now, he nickers every time he sees us coming up to the gate. |
